I'm a socially motivated designer, an art museum explorer, and a Chinese adoptee advocate. My personality type is
ENJF-A.
Working post-pandemic has challenged everything I know about remote designing! I've learned to collaborate with co-workers across the United States, pitch wireframes and prototypes virtually, and receive website feedback in different ways.
I'm detail-oriented and dive deep into UX research, content audits, and patterns. I listen to others' pain points and can work independently as well. I believe all users should have ADA-compliant designs and synchronize digital UX with real-world UX. My experiences with complex systems, multiple levels of user access, and layout designs require me to always ask "why." I stay updated with UI/UX trends from Nielsen Norman Group and try to incorporate non-designers into my design process.
In my free time, I create wireframes and prototypes for passion projects surrounding adoptee culture. I also attend UX networking events in Philly and enjoy staying at home reading books with my senior cat, Fruity Pebbles.
